IHOP Pancakes Create Miracles for Children

National Pancake Day Raises $625,000 for Children's Miracle Network and other charities 


SALT LAKE CITY, March 1  /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Nearly 1.1 million buttermilk pancakes raised more than $625,000 for Children's Miracle Network and other worthy causes during IHOP's second National Pancake Day Celebration on February 20. Over 1,300 IHOP restaurants participated in the day's festivities that benefited children nationwide.

On National Pancake Day, IHOP guests were invited to enjoy a free short stack of its signature buttermilk pancakes and, in return, collected donations for Children's Miracle Network and other local charities.  The newly-crowned Miss America 2007, Lauren Nelson, served as the event's national spokesperson.
