Receipt of Conditional Indicative Offer & Resignation of Director
Donatantonio plc has received today a conditional, indicative offer from certain
members of the Company's management team at 80p a share. An independent
committee of the Company's board has been appointed and is considering with the
Company's financial advisers whether it is able to recommend this offer to
shareholders.
Howard Falk has resigned as Finance Director of the Company to take up a
position in the private sector. Prompt attention will be given to the
appointment of a replacement Finance Director and this will be considered by the
board in the context of the indicative offer which has been received. In the
interim, Mr. Falk's duties will be undertaken by Robert Edlin, Financial
Controller.
