New Furmanite America Executives Receive Stock Option Grants

Xanser Corporation (NYSE:XNR) today announced that it
has granted Xanser stock options in connection with the initial
employment of two new executives of its subsidiary, Furmanite America,
Inc. Matthew S. Sisson, Vice President Southern Division and Jay D.
Goodyear, Vice President Northern Division were granted options to
purchase 35,000 shares each of Xanser Corporation common stock.
   The above option grants are at 100% of the closing market price of
$4.43 on the effective date of the grant, April 3, 2006. The stock
options will become exercisable in 20% increments annually commencing
April 3, 2007 and will expire on July 2, 2011, unless earlier due to
separation from service of the company.
