ExpressJet Airlines Launches First Flights From Albuquerque International Sunport



ALBUQUERQUE, N.M., April 16  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Albuquerque travelers had their first experience with ExpressJet Airlines' new non-stop service from Los Angeles, Oklahoma City, and Tulsa today. ExpressJet will bring non-stop service on line to connect Albuquerque with Sacramento, Austin and San Antonio in time for the summer travel season.

Jim Ream, ExpressJet President and CEO, said that ExpressJet branded service aims to save travelers time by eliminating layovers in crowded hubs. Announcing details of the ExpressJet frequent flyer program, Ream said the JetSet(sm) program "rewards our customers for how often they fly, not how far they go." ExpressJet customers earn one roundtrip ticket to any destination ExpressJet serves for every eight roundtrips, or 16 one-way tickets, within a 24-month period.*

As a special introduction to the ExpressJet brand of flying, a limited- time JetSet promotion rewards flyers who fly four roundtrips or eight one-way trips between now and September 30, 2007 with one free roundtrip ticket to any destination ExpressJet serves.**

Flying a young fleet of fuel-efficient Embraer ERJ-145 aircraft configured with no middle seats, ExpressJet gives every customer an assigned seat. To make getting on and off the plane easier, ExpressJet also offers valet carry- on baggage service.

Ream said ExpressJet upgraded in-flight entertainment with more than 100 channels of free XM(R) Satellite radio, complimentary recognized name-brand snacks with full service meal options on longer flights, and redesigned, memory foam leather seating.
