NEW SERVICE IN TIME FOR HOLIDAY TRAVEL SEASON ONTARIO, Calif., Nov. 13 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- ExpressJet Airlines takes off from L.A./Ontario International Airport (ONT) to Reno-Tahoe today, expanding its nonstop service for business and winter holiday travelers. "We are pleased to celebrate the inauguration of additional ExpressJet Airlines service at our airport," said Jess Romo, airport manager. "ExpressJet is connecting the Inland Empire to a popular destination where we did not have non-stop service before, and that convenience will be especially welcome during the busy holiday travel and ski season." Jim Ream, ExpressJet President and CEO, said he was pleased with the warm welcome Southern California has offered to ExpressJet Airlines since the airline started service earlier this year. "This market has responded positively, and we're excited to bring you a new nonstop connection to Reno," Ream said. Ream said he is pleased with the progress ExpressJet Airlines has made since introducing its network earlier this year, and that customers are commenting favorably on the new service. "ExpressJet will continue to look for new ways we can bring customers a better experience when they fly," Ream said. "We are hearing from our customers that they appreciate being able to save time and enjoy a more comfortable ride in our quiet and fuel-efficient, young fleet of jets." Now, travelers can fly nonstop with ExpressJet Airlines from Ontario to Albuquerque, Austin, Boise, Colorado Springs, El Paso, Fresno, Kansas City, Mo., Louisville, Monterey, Calif., Oklahoma City, Omaha, Reno-Tahoe, Sacramento, San Antonio, Spokane, Tucson and Tulsa. Tickets are available for purchase online at http://www.xjet.com/, by calling 888.958.XJET (9538) as well as through most travelers' preferred providers, including travel agents and online distributors. ExpressJet Airlines aircraft are quiet, fuel efficient, and configured with no middle seat, assigning every passenger a seat on the aisle, window or both. ExpressJet Airlines branded service delivers an improved customer experience. In addition to the valet carry-on bag service, complimentary name- brand snacks and full service meal options on longer flights, ExpressJet Airlines provides over 100 channels of XM Satellite(R) Radio coupled with complimentary headsets at each seat, "beer for a buck" and an exclusive wine selection provided by Chameleon Cellars. ExpressJet Airlines also offers a simple reward-based frequent flier program, JetSet(SM), which rewards customers for how often they fly, not how far they go.* The JetSet Frequent Seller Program rewards travel agents who earn ExpressJet points two ways: when their customers fly with ExpressJet, and when they enroll new customers in the JetSet Frequent Flyer Program. JetSet members also can take advantage of special discounts and promotions courtesy of the airline's Preferred Partnership with Avis Rent A Car and Budget Rent A Car.
