HUNTSVILLE, Ala., Aug. 23  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Wolverine Tube, Inc.
(NYSE:WLV) today announced the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors has
engaged KPMG LLP as its Independent Registered Public Accounting firm to
replace Ernst & Young LLP.

auditors was not the result of any disagreement with Ernst & Young on any
matters of accounting principles or practices, financial statement disclosure
