Walter Industries, Inc. Board Declares Quarterly Dividend

TAMPA, Fla., Feb. 2  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Walter Industries, Inc. (NYSE: WLT), a leading producer and exporter of U.S. metallurgical coal for the global steel industry, announced today that its Board of Directors has declared a regular quarterly dividend of $0.10 per common share, payable on March 13, 2009 to shareholders of record at the close of business on Feb. 20, 2009.
