Whiting Petroleum Corporation Declares Dividend on 6.25% Convertible Perpetual Preferred Stock

DENVER, Nov. 16  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Whiting Petroleum Corporation (NYSE:WLL) announced that its Board of Directors declared today a dividend of $1.5625 per share on its 6.25% convertible perpetual preferred stock (NYSE: WLL-PrA).  The dividend is payable on December 15, 2009 to holders of record on December 1, 2009.
