Deborah Hyman Named Director of HR Development and Internal Communications

completed the nationwide search for a Director of Human Resources Development
and Internal Communications for WellChoice, Inc.  based in New York City, with
the placement of Deborah Hyman. WellChoice, Inc. is the parent company of Empire

York based on PPO and HMO membership.

public relations manager at Freddie Mac, a Fortune 50 company created by
Congress to support homeownership and rental housing, based in McLean, VA, where
she creates public relations strategies for consumer- based initiatives.

Prior to joining Freddie Mac in 2000, Deborah worked as the Director of Public
Affairs and Employee Relations for the Association Innovation & Management Group
in Reston, VA, where she provided public relations counsel for science and
technology associations. She began her career in public relations as the public
affairs officer at the Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility, a
Department of Energy nuclear physics research laboratory in Newport News, VA.
Deborah began her professional career as a reporter at the Daily Press in
Newport News.

Deborah received her Bachelor's of Arts Degree in Mass Media Arts from Hampton
University in Hampton, VA, and a Master's of Arts Degree in Public Communication
from the American University in Washington, D.C.

Deborah serves as a board member for the Washington Association of Black
Journalists and the National Black Public Relations Society.
