The 4th season of TeleFutura’s
highly awaited hit-reality show “Objetivo Fama”
(Objective Fame) kicks off on Monday, January 29, with a series
of specials. A smash hit in its first three seasons, “Objetivo
Fama” returns for another season as 20 new
aspiring singing stars vie for a coveted recording contract with
Univision Music Group.

Fama’ action on Monday’s

and Operation Manager, TeleFutura Network. “‘Objetivo
Fama’ promises to be packed with music,
excitement and suspense in this its fourth season.”
On Monday, January 29, from 8 pm – 10 pm
ET/PT, “Objetivo Fama”
auditions will feature a two-hour recap of the tryouts that took
place across the country for this year’s
participants. Auditions took place in 23 cities across the country and
Puerto Rico, where the program is produced.
On February 5 from 8 pm – 10 pm ET/PT, Hispanic
America will meet this year’s participants
during a two-hour show, “Las 20
Estrellas de Objetivo Fama” (The 20 Stars of
Objective Fame). Viewers will get a sneak peak at this year’s
contestants and all the pride they bring to the show as representatives
of their hometowns.
On February 12 from 7 pm – 7:30 pm ET/PT, “Countdown
to Fama” (Countdown to Fame) will feature
all the final preparations, last minute jitters and flurry of emotions
before the long awaited debut of the competition, which premieres from
7:30 pm – 10 pm ET/PT.
Popular Mexican singer/actress Yuri will reprise her role as host.
In addition to the recording contract with Univision Music Group, the
top sponsors - McDonald’s, Pontiac, Sears and
Verizon Wireless - are providing this year’s
winner with a series of prizes, including a 2007 Pontiac G6 hardtop
convertible, the opportunity to participate in a McDonald’s
commercial and $10,000 worth of merchandise from Sears.
Past winners include Janina from Puerto Rico (2004); Latin GRAMMY
nominee Anais from New York (2005); and Premio Lo Nuestro nominee Marlon
Fernandez, the 2006 winner from Miami, who recently released his debut
album titled “Mi Sueńo”
(My Dream) by Univision Records.

pm ET/PT on the TeleFutura Network.
