Maritrans Announces First Quarter 2006 Earnings Release and Conference Call

Maritrans Inc. (NYSE:TUG) today announced that it will
release its first quarter 2006 earnings on the afternoon of May 1,
2006. Maritrans' management will host an investor conference call on
Tuesday, May 2, 2006, at 9:00 a.m. eastern time to discuss the
