The Turkish Investment Fund, Inc. Announces Results of Annual Meeting of Stockholders

The Turkish Investment Fund, Inc. (NYSE: TKF) (the “Fund”) announced today that a proposal to liquidate and dissolve the Fund did not receive the required vote to be approved by stockholders at its annual meeting of stockholders held on June 21, 2017 and adjourned from time to time until August 3, 2017 (the “Stockholder Meeting”). The Fund also announced today that, at the Stockholder Meeting, its stockholders approved the election of Kathleen A. Dennis, Joseph J. Kearns, Michael E. Nugent and Fergus Reid as Class I Directors for a term expiring in 2020 and Patricia Maleski as a Class III Director for a term expiring in 2019.
