today announced that it has renewed its agreement with Megabyte Systems,
Inc., http://www.megabytesystems.com,
where Official Payments will continue as the exclusive electronic
payment processing provider to Megabyte, integrating electronic tax
payments with county tax systems in California. This renewal extends the
companies’ relationship through 2013.
Official Payments Corp., a leading electronic payment processing

provider, have partnered since 2003. The companies recently extended
their exclusive agreement to deliver an integrated tax collection system
that provides real-time updates of electronic payments, and also
provides unified tax collection reporting. California counties currently
benefiting from this integrated solution are Amador, Butte, Calaveras,
Colusa, Humboldt, Imperial, Lake, Madera, Merced, Monterey, Napa,
Placer, Plumas, San Benito, San Joaquin, Shasta, Siskiyou, Sonoma,
Stanislaus, and Yuba.
