(NYSE:TCAP) (“Triangle” or the “Company”), a leading provider of capital to lower middle market companies, announced today that it closed a $24.5 million investment in Smile Brands Group (“Smile Brands”) consisting of subordinated debt and equity. Smile Brands is a dental service organization operating clinics in 17 states. Smile Brands provides general dentistry, dental hygiene and specialty services, as well as centralized scheduling, billing, marketing and financing for its office locations.
