ProfitCenter Software Inc. (PCS), a wholly owned
subsidiary of Systemax Inc. (NYSE: SYX), and a premier provider of
web-based, on-demand software for multichannel and direct marketing
merchants, has signed a contract for the PCS Profitability Software
Suite(TM) with Virginia Diner, a foremost provider of gourmet foods
and treats for consumers, corporate and fundraising organizations.
The PCS solution is designed to meet the information technology
needs of multi-channel marketing companies ranging from small and
midsize businesses to large enterprises. Direct Marketing companies
gain efficiencies and peace of mind with PCS because they never have
to worry about investing in additional hardware or services to
maintain their system. PCS provides the necessary servers and manages
the system, including backups, version control, and upgrades.
Companies retain total control over their customer management,
e-commerce, order processing and fulfillment functions, including
purchasing, receiving, warehousing and accounting.
"One of the many aspects we considered when we selected PCS, in
addition to the strong functionality offered, was the cost," stated
Chris Epperson, President of Virginia Diner. "Virginia Diner can focus
resources on growing our business and on our customers' needs instead
of spending valuable time battling the day's latest IT issue. PCS will
take care of our hardware and software maintenance at a reasonable
per-employee-per-month cost."
"PCS is leveraging proven expertise in working with many customers
in the multi-channel direct marketing industry," said Matthew Ehrlich,
President and CEO of ProfitCenter Software. "Addressing the unique and
common requirements of each of our clients, PCS is the first complete
SaaS (Software as a Service) solution to help these direct marketing
companies cost-effectively automate and streamline their business
processes, and ultimately stay focused on their core business goals."
"With PCS, we will regain control of our own information without
diverting attention from our business objectives," said Epperson. "By
leveraging PCS, Virginia Diner will have a means to more profitably
deliver products to our customers without numerous IT resources. This
means my staff doesn't have to continually monitor servers, software
updates and other system functions."
"Limited IT resources have forced many direct marketing companies
to rely on disconnected legacy systems, complicated spreadsheets, and
other workarounds, to manage their growing businesses. They do not
have the staffing resources to continue to do this and effectively
focus on their sales and marketing," said Ehrlich. "PCS and its
technology are designed to address these shortcomings, providing
e-commerce, CRM (customer relationship management), order processing,
fulfillment and accounting in one fully integrated solution. Virginia
Diner chose PCS as a partner to help empty their plate of draining IT
tasks and we are happy to assist them."
PCS' Profitability Software Suite(TM) is a unified solution that
enhances a direct marketing company's bottom line, while eliminating
the costs and complexities of traditional technologies. The PCS full
featured SaaS (Software as a Service) on demand solution runs all
aspects of a multi-channel direct marketing business. Through sales,
order processing, fulfillment, accounting functionality and more, PCS
empowers companies with the ability to automate and manage the full
range of business information necessary to fully support their
customers.
