TigerDirect Celebrates the Grand Opening of Two Illinois Stores

The TigerDirect locations fully integrate the Company’s powerful shopping experience, Retail 2.0®, which combines the best of brick-and-mortar and online shopping, in addition to TigerConnect™ centers that provide a full suite of mobile specialty offerings.

The grand openings are scheduled to take place on Friday, April 29th and Saturday, April 30th, with the festivities continuing for two subsequent Fridays and Saturdays. The Chicago Midtown store is located at 2500 North Elston Avenue and features 33,000 square feet of one-stop shopping conveniences. The Vernon Hills store is located at 551 North Milwaukee and features a 25,000 square retail store, as well as a separate 8,000 square foot business-to-business call center. The Company is expected to hire approximately 70 full- and part-time local-area employees across both retail store locations and about 80 business-to-business call center agents.
