Syniverse Technologies (NYSE:SVR), a leading provider of
mission-critical technology services to wireless telecommunications
companies worldwide, announced today it has signed a multi-year contract
to provide Centennial Wireless with number portability and network
services.
Through the new agreement, Syniverse will supply Centennial with its
LATALink® ISUP
Signaling Transport Service, which allows for efficient and economical
connections to local access transport areas; its INLINK®
SS7 Signaling Transport Services, which establishes the network backbone
required for a variety of advanced intelligent network services; and its
INPort® ICC/SOA WNP
Service Bureau and INPort®
LRN Query Service number portability solutions, which let subscribers
change local telecommunications service providers while keeping their
existing telephone numbers.
This contract expands the existing Centennial-Syniverse relationship
that currently includes a variety of other clearinghouse, messaging and
network services.
