NEW YORK, Sept. 15, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The Ibero-America Fund, Inc. (NYSE: SNF), a closedend management investment company, declared on this date, September 15, 2011, a final long-term capital gains distribution of $0.445 per share of Common Stock, payable on September 20, 2011 to shareholders of record at the close of business on August 31, 2011.
As previously announced, the Fund's stockholders have approved the liquidation and dissolution of the Fund and it is anticipated that liquidating distributions to stockholders will take place by approximately the end of September 2011.
