Sony's Online Auction to Benefit America's Second Harvest Goes Live

SAN DIEGO, Jan. 10  /PRNewswire/ -- Today Sony kicks off the online auction of one-of-a-kind celebrity designed notebooks to raise funds for America's Second Harvest -- The Nation's Foodbank Network, an organization dedicated to creating a hunger-free America. The auction is now live at eBay http://www.ebay.com/vaio and will run through January 23. All funds raised through the auction will be matched by Sony Electronics.

The best-selling VAIO(R) FJ series received personalized makeovers from Jessica Alba, Elijah Wood, Mark Ruffalo, Wilmer Valderrama and DJ AM with Nicole Richie. Fans can bid on their favorite celebrity designed PC, which is also one of Sony's more popular computers, all for a good cause.

All proceeds from the auctions will directly benefit America's Second Harvest -- The Nation's Food Bank Network (http://www.secondharvest.org/).
