SCPIE Holdings Inc. Stockholders Elect SCPIE Nominees at Annual Meeting; Final Results of Vote Certified by Independent Inspect

SCPIE Holdings Inc. (NYSE:SKP), a major provider of
healthcare liability insurance, today announced that its Board of
Directors' nominees, Kaj Ahlmann, Elizabeth A. Murphy and Willis T.
King Jr., have been elected.
   The votes from SCPIE Holdings Inc.'s June 22, 2006, Annual Meeting
of Stockholders were certified in a final report by IVS Associates,
Inc., the independent inspectors of election.
   Ahlmann is an independent consultant to companies in the insurance
industry. Previously, he was Chairman and CEO of Inreon, a global
electronic reinsurance venture; Vice Chairman and Executive Officer of
E.W. Blanch Holdings, Inc.; and Chairman, President and CEO of
Employers Reinsurance Corporation. Murphy recently was the Executive
Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Scottish Re Group Ltd.,
an NYSE-traded company, and previously was Treasurer of ACE Limited.
King, an incumbent director, has served on SCPIE's Board of Directors
since 1997.
   The independent inspectors of election also certified the passage
of the proposal to ratify the selection of Ernst & Young LLP as the
Company's independent registered public accounting firm for the year
ending December 31, 2006.
