Standard Insurance Company (“The Standard”) announced today that Greg Chandler has been promoted to vice president of Information Technology Enterprise Services.

Chandler came to The Standard as director of Infrastructure Operations in 2008. In 2009 Greg was promoted to assistant vice president of IT Infrastructure. Since that time he assumed responsibility for Supplier Management in 2012 and Enterprise Document Management Services in 2013.
Chandler joined The Standard after working in Silicon Valley and holding several technical leadership positions at Intel. His past roles as an IT leader include server and network engineering, global IT construction and global IT infrastructure and operations management, where he was responsible for all Intel data centers worldwide.
“During Greg’s tenure he has focused on improving the reliability, currency and security of infrastructure and achieving cost savings from our suppliers,” said David O’Brien, senior vice president of Information Technology at The Standard. “I’m very pleased to announce this promotion.”
Chandler earned a Bachelor of Arts in economics and computer science from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
