The Standard Hires Laura Peirson as Retirement Plan Consultant Associate

The Standard announced the hiring of Laura Peirson as a retirement plan consultant associate for its South Sales Region. She is based in The Standard’s Dallas, Texas, sales office.

Peirson has more than 20 years of experience in the design, servicing and administration of corporate retirement plans. For the past several years she has served as a senior internal sales consultant for Ascensus in the firm’s East Region. Prior to her tenure at Ascensus, Peirson worked as a client service representative with The Vanguard Group.

“Laura’s background in retirement plan design and administration, coupled with her most recent sales and marketing experience, will enhance the service and support we’re able to provide to our advisors in the region,” said Rita Taylor-Rodriguez, regional sales director for The Standard’s South Sales Region. “We are thrilled to have her join our South Sales Team.”

Peirson earned her Master of Business Administration with a Global Perspective from Arcadia University and her Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education Studies from University of Delaware. She holds the Accredited Retirement Plan Consultant designation from The Society of Professional Administrators and Recordkeepers.
