On March 13, 2023, Safeguard Scientifics, Inc. (“Safeguard”) issued a press release addressing the closing of Silicon Valley Bank by the California Department of Financial Protection and Innovation and the appointment of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation as receiver.
