Sodexho Ranked #2 Worldwide in Outsourcing Services

Foodservice and Facilities Management Company Honored in First Industry-Wide Recognition of Outsourcing Excellence 


GAITHERSBURG, Md., April 25  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Sodexho (NYSE:SDX) has been ranked number two in the world among leading global outsourcing providers by the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals (IAOP).  The "Global Outsourcing 100," appears in North American editions of the April 3 issue of Fortune magazine.

Sodexho, the leading global provider of food and management services, was the top ranked company in the IAOP industry categories "Facility Services" and "Real Estate and Capital Asset Management" with only IBM receiving a higher overall ranking. The IAOP said Sodexho was "hot on (IBM's) heels" and received "high marks across the board."

Companies were ranked based on 18 criteria including revenue growth, number of employees, workforce skills and training, technical and business certifications (such as ISO 9001), the track record of the management team and the quality of customer services.
