Jazzman's(R) Cafe Unveils Fair Trade and Organic Coffee from Ethiopia

Rich new roast from Ethiopian Coffee Cooperative, subject of new PBS movie Black Gold, is the latest in the Jazzman's Noteworthy Coffees(TM) series 


ALLENTOWN, Pa., April 30  /PRNewswire/ -- Retail Brand Group, LLC (RBG) and its award-winning Jazzman's Cafe today unveiled an organic and Fair Trade- certified blend from Ethiopia as the latest quarterly installment in its Noteworthy Coffees series, a distinctive line of coffees featuring beans from farming cooperatives and communities around the world as special limited time offerings. This rich roast debuts this month at all 190-plus Jazzman's locations nationwide and will be available through summer.

Ethiopia-Oromia Coffee, characterized by a hint of natural berry taste and a sweet finish, is farmed by the families of the Oromia Coffee Farmers' Cooperative Union, a campaign established in 1999 as a way for farmers to receive fair sums of money from their crops and to facilitate the building of schools, health centers and clean water stations for coffee farmers and their families. The cooperative and one of its leaders, Tadesse Meskela are featured in a documentary film, Black Gold, as featured on PBS (check local listings).
