Sodexho to Open First Einstein Bros.(R) Bagel Location in Hawaii on Naval Station Pearl Harbor Bringing an 'Anything But Routine' Experience to a Military Neighborhood 


GAITHERSBURG, Md., Feb. 14  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Sailors and their families will be saying 'Aloha' to bagels this spring when Sodexho opens an Einstein Bros. location on the Navy base at Pearl Harbor in Honolulu -- the first Einstein Bros. in the state.  Under a newly signed five-year agreement, Sodexho Inc. (NYSE:SDX), the nation's leading provider of food and facilities management services, will renovate an existing cafeteria-style location on the base and operate the new retail store.

Whether sailors want to nosh on a bagel and shmear, grab a cup of darn good coffee(R) or bite into a crisp fresh salad or warm panini, Einstein Bros. will have a full menu to satisfy every taste for breakfast and lunch, conveniently located on base.

Through a licensing agreement signed in 2001, Sodexho operates several Einstein Bros. restaurants in the U.S. at colleges and universities and health care facilities including Auburn University in Auburn, Ala., Emory University in Atlanta and several locations opening this spring such as Savannah Memorial Health in Savannah, Ga. and Bentley College in Waltham, Mass.
