Russell Corporation Announces Regular Quarterly Dividend

ATLANTA, Dec. 15  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The Board of Directors of Russell Corporation (NYSE:RML) has declared its regular quarterly dividend of $0.04 per common share, payable February 13, 2006, to shareholders of record on January 30, 2006.

This represents the 171st consecutive quarterly dividend paid by the Company.
