New Dex Yellow Pages Resolve to Help Denver Residents Find the Right Local Information in 2009

DENVER, Dec. 30  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Looking for a downtown Denver gym to help launch that New Year's resolution?  Trying to be better about eating at healthier restaurants in 2009?  With the new 2009 Denver Metro Dex(R) Yellow Pages, Denverites now have an updated source to turn to - not just for businesses that will help them keep their New Year's resolutions, but year-round.

In addition to new business listings, this year's directory includes updated Community Pages, shopping guides and more.  The 2009 edition also continues Dex's longstanding partnership with Major League Baseball's Colorado Rockies, providing fans with Rockies pictures, schedules, and Coors Field-related information.

Beginning this month Denver Metro Residential White Pages directories will be available by request only and via DexKnows.com.  Consumers who wish to receive a print version of the Denver Metro Residential White Pages may log onto DexKnows.com and click on "Directory Options," or call 1-877-2-GET-DEX to receive a print or CD-ROM version of the directory.  However, residents who receive the Central Downtown Community Directory will continue to receive a standalone white pages directory.  Residential white pages will also continue to be included in community Yellow Pages directories for other communities throughout the Denver area.

Print Yellow Pages remain a vital resource for adults seeking local businesses.  According to a recent Knowledge Networks/SRI Industry Usage Study, approximately 87 percent of the U.S. population used the print Yellow Pages in 2007.  This accounted for more than 13.4 billion print Yellow Pages directory references, unchanged from 2006.
