American Stock Exchange Will Launch Options Trading in Four
Stocks
NEW YORK, April 6 /PRNewswire/ -- The American Stock Exchange (Amex) will
launch trading in options on Thursday, April 7, 2005 on the following American
Stock Exchange and Nasdaq Stock Market listed stocks of:
* Central European Distribution Corporation
(Stock Symbol: CEDC/Option Symbol: CUV)
* Danielson Holding Corporation (Symbol: DHC)
* Magna Entertainment Corp, Class A
(Stock Symbol: MECA/Option Symbol: QBC)
* Provident Energy Trust (Symbol: PVX)
Central European Distribution Corporation options will open with position
limits of 2,500,000 shares. The options will trade on the March expiration
cycle. The specialist will be Group One Trading L.P. Central European
Distribution Corporation imports beer, wine and spirits and distributes
domestic vodka on a nationwide basis in Poland.
Danielson Holding Corporation options will open with position limits of
5,000,000 shares. The options will trade on the March expiration cycle. The
specialist will be Group One Trading L.P. Amex-listed Danielson Holding
Corporation, a holding company, engages in the energy, financial services and
specialty insurance business through its subsidiaries.
Magna Entertainment Corp., Class A options will open with position limits of
25,000,000 shares. The options will trade on the March expiration cycle. The
specialist will be Susquehanna Investment Group. Magna Entertainment Corp.
acquires, develops and operates horse racetracks and related pari-mutuel
wagering operations.
Provident Energy Trust options will open with position limits of 25,000,000
shares. The options will trade on the March expiration cycle. The specialist
will be AGS Specialists, LLC. Amex-listed Provident Energy Trust is an oil and
gas trust that acquires, develops, produces and markets crude oil, natural gas
and natural gas liquids.
