                          Disposal of Poptones Limited

                    Change of name to Hawthorn Holdings PLC


At the EGM held at 10.30 a.m. today, 8 July 2003, the resolutions proposed and
set out in the notice dated 13 June 2003, principally concerning the disposal of
Poptones Limited and change of name to Hawthorn Holdings PLC, were duly passed.


Consequently, the disposal of Poptones Limited to Alan McGee, as detailed in the
circular to shareholders on 13 June 2003, has now been completed and the
registered name of Poptones Group plc changed to Hawthorn Holdings PLC.
