Opteum Inc. (NYSE:OPX), a real estate investment trust (REIT) that
operates an integrated mortgage-related securities investment portfolio
and mortgage origination platform, today announced that its Board of
Directors has declared a cash dividend of $0.05 per share of Class A and
Class B Common Stock for the quarter ending March 31, 2007. The dividend
is payable April 13, 2007, to stockholders of record on March 26, 2007.
