Omnicare Inc. (OCR) is drawing takeover interest from potential suitors, including CVS Health Corp. (CVS) and Express Scripts Holding Co. (ESRX), with initial bids for the company due next month, Bloomberg News reported Thursday on its website, citing people with knowledge of the matter.
Walgreen Boots Alliance Inc. (WBA) and McKesson Corp. (MCK) also are potential bidders for Omnicare, a supplier of drugs to nursing homes, the people told Bloomberg. Omnicare has retained Bank of America Corp. (BAC) and Centerview Partners to assist in the process.
