New Skies Satellites Holdings Ltd. (NYSE:NSE) announced
today that its board of directors has declared a partial quarterly
cash dividend for the period from May 13, 2005 to June 30, 2005, in
the amount of $0.252146 per share, payable on or about July 15, 2005
to shareholders of record on June 30, 2005.
Dan Goldberg, chief executive officer of New Skies, said: "I am
very pleased with the progress we have made following our recent
public offering. The initiation of our regular quarterly cash dividend
is a clear reflection of our confidence in our commercial prospects
going forward and our ability to continue generating strong cash flows
from operating activities, historically demonstrated by New Skies'
stable and predictable revenue stream and high operating margins.
Today's action also underscores our commitment to return value to
shareholders".
New Skies expects to continue paying quarterly dividends at an
annual rate of $1.8525 per share for the first four full fiscal
quarters.
