For the ninth consecutive year, NRG Energy, Inc. (NYSE:NRG) employees participated in volunteer projects for non-profit organizations around the country as part of NRG’s annual Global Giving Week. Reflecting their desire to make a difference in the communities in which they live and work, from May 16–20, more than 1,200 NRG employees across 18 states volunteered nearly 5,000 hours, serving more than 200 charities and nonprofits and donating nearly $100,000 to charitable causes.
