--Traton Chief Executive Andreas Renschler said the company is happy with its partnership with Navistar "as it is," and plans to strengthen its position with cooperation, according to the newspaper.
--Traton took a minority stake in Navistar two years ago, sparking speculation about potential takeover plans.
