Morgan Stanley Global Opportunity Bond Fund, Inc. Declares a Dividend in Advance of Reorganization

Morgan Stanley Global Opportunity Bond Fund, Inc. (NYSE: MGB) (the “Fund”) today declared a dividend of $0.0823 per share of net investment income in connection with the Reorganization of the Fund into Morgan Stanley Emerging Markets Debt Fund, Inc. (NYSE:MSD). The Reorganization is expected to occur on or about January 29, 2010. In addition, the Fund will suspend its Dividend Reinvestment and Cash Purchase Plan in connection with this dividend and pay stockholders in cash.
