MOSCOW--Russia's No. 1 telecommunications company Mobile TeleSystems (MBT) will make dividend payments in 2014 and 2015 exceeding a total of 90 billion rubles ($2.6 billion), Alexei Kornya, the company's chief financial officer, said Tuesday while presenting the company's strategy for this year and next.
The dividend will be increased from RUB41 billion in 2013 due to healthy cash-flow numbers, Mr. Kornya said.
The company is planning to achieve those results with the help of a stable macroeconomic situation, the company said in a statement.
