LyondellBasell Industries N.V. (LYB) said Friday that Chief Financial Officer Thomas Aebischer will retire at the end of 2019.
The plastics, chemicals and refining company said in a release that it will be conducting a search for Mr. Aebischer's replacement over the next several months, and anticipates naming one before the end of the year.
LyondellBasell also announced that Torkel Rhenman will join the company as executive vice president, Intermediates & Derivatives, effective July 1. Mr. Rhenman succeeds James Guilfoyle who was appointed executive vice president, Advanced Polymer Solutions and Global Supply Chain, in 2018.
