M Science Launches Mobile Supply Chain Data for Wireless Semiconductors

New data offering expands dataset and enables clients to view global semiconductor component trends in near real time

M Science, the leader and pioneer in data driven research and analytics, today announced the launch of its Mobile Supply Chain Data, an M Data product for the wireless semiconductors market. The new offering provides a comprehensive view of SKU-level sales volume highlighting key trends for over 50 global smartphone component manufacturers.

The Mobile Supply Chain Data will be available later this year on M Science’s interactive proprietary platform, M Data Viz, which launched in January 2018 with Video Games and allows clients to visualize, interact with and analyze the firm’s M Data offerings.

With monthly visibility into 45 percent of smartphones activations globally, the Mobile Supply Chain Data provides insights at the production level for over one third of worldwide units, covering components produced at over 50 unique companies across 9 functional categories and 56 functional subcategories. Data will be distributed monthly, offering insight and analytics into key bill of materials content within both Android and Apple handsets including camera, connectivity, display, memory, radio frequency, power management/audio, and sensors, while providing unit volumes, average selling prices and revenue estimates.
