HOUSTON, June 2, 2015 /PRNewswire/-- Fuddruckers proves it's never too early to start thinking about football. The Texas-based heritage brand has finalized a three-year partnership program with hometown team, the Houston Texans, that officially kicks off in September, just in time for the start of the season. While the acclaimed fast casual brand, offering a growing roster of restaurant locations around the globe, has long claimed the tagline home of the "World's Greatest Hamburgers," the agreement now adds the title "Official Hamburger of the Houston Texans."
According to Peter Tropoli, Chief Operating Officer of Luby's, Inc., "Not only is this a win for the Fuddruckers team, but we look forward to bringing the excitement of the game to Houston Texans fans and diners through a number of interactive and youth driven elements."
Customers will have their first chance to make their play during a summer contest that will result in the selection of a signature Houston Texans burger. Ongoing components will include special coupons for Houston Texans season ticket holders, restaurant giveaways plus meet and greets with cheerleaders and team staff, as well as brand involvement in the Houston Texans Youth Football Showcase League.
