WASHINGTON, Jan. 3  /PRNewswire/ -- The Coalition of Publicly Traded
Partnerships, a trade association representing publicly traded partnerships
("PTPs"; also known as master limited partnerships, or "MLPs") and those who
work with them, announced today that it will host a conference call and webcast
to discuss newly enacted legislation making MLPs an acceptable source of income
for mutual funds under the tax code.  The call will be held on Tuesday, January
11, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. Eastern.  Coalition representatives will discuss the new
legislation and answer questions concerning mutual fund investments in MLPs as
well as MLPs in general.
