Germany's Deutsche Bank AG (DB) Wednesday said it is prepared to enter talks with media entrepreneur Leo Kirch regarding a long-year dispute over damage payments.
"Although we're confident that we'll win the legal dispute, Deutsche Bank is in principle prepared to have talks with the opposite party," a spokesman told Dow Jones Newswires.
Kirch had sued Deutsche Bank for damages, alleging its former Chief Executive Rolf Breuer's statments in a 2002 television interview caused Kirch financial damage.
