Journal Register Company Appoints Laurel Lane New Corporate Director of Online Sales

YARDLEY, PA today announced the appointment of Laurel Lane, former Director of Classified, Recruitment and Private Party at Lee Enterprises, Inc. to the post of Corporate Director of Interactive Sales, effective immediately. She reports to Daryl M. Hively, Vice President, Interactive Media.

In her previous position, Ms. Lane's primary responsibilities included driving revenue in print and online, and leading Lee's successful Yahoo! HotJobs implementation. Ms. Lane also was involved with strategic planning, sales training, staffing and providing industry and market analysis.

Ms. Lane will be responsible for all online revenue and sales staff development. She will also supervise a group of regional sales managers in each of the Company's six clusters: Greater Philadelphia, Michigan, Greater Cleveland, Connecticut, Capital-Saratoga and New York Mid-Hudson.
