The International Securities Exchange (NYSE: ISE), the
world's largest equity options exchange, today announced that it set a
record for daily trading volume of 4,580,678 equity and index
contracts on Friday, January 20, 2006 surpassing the previous record
of 3,385,677 contracts set on January 18, 2006.
