   Infineon Technologies AG

   Infineon Technologies AG (Infineon) develops, manufactures and
markets a range of semiconductors and systems solutions used in a
variety of microelectronic applications, including computer systems,
telecommunications systems, consumer goods, automotive products,
industrial automation and control systems, and chip card applications.
Until December 2004, the Company operated in four segments: Wireline
Communications, Secure Mobile Solutions, Automotive and Industrial and
Memory Products. Beginning January 1, 2005, The Wireline
Communications segment and the Mobile business were combined into the
new Communication segment. The security and chip card activities and
the application-specific semiconductor (ASIC) and Design Solutions
business were integrated into the extended Automotive, Industrial and
Multimarket segment. As of September 30, 2005, Infineon operated in
three segments: Automotive, Industrial & Multimarket, Communication
Solutions and Memory Products (separated in a new company called
Qimonda).
