2005 Common Stock Dividend 


BOSTON, June 9  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Heritage Property Investment Trust,
Inc. (NYSE:HTG) ("Heritage" or the "Company") today reported that the Board of
Directors of the Company has declared the regular quarterly dividend on its
common stock for the quarter ending June 30, 2005 of $.525 per share. This
dividend is payable on July 15, 2005 to shareholders of record on June 30,
2005.
