ExxonMobil over the weekend shut a FCCU and alkylation unit at its Torrance, California, refinery for turnaround maintenance. The turnaround, underway since the first week in March, is expected to last for about 40 days.
BP (BP) restarted ultraformer No. 4 Tuesday at its Texas City, Texas, refinery after shutting down on March 19 for repairs; emissions are expected to last until March 27.
Valero Energy (VLO) will completely restart its Memphis, Tenn., refinery by the end of April following a $225 million project. The plant has been off-line since March 14.
Flint Hills Resources starts seven days of maintenance at a Corpus Christi, Texas, refinery flare gas recovery unit on March 21. The start and end timing of the work are estimates, the company warns.
