Host Marriott Corporation Announces Fourth Quarter Earnings Call to be Held on February 23, 2006

BETHESDA, Md., Jan. 23  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Host Marriott Corporation (NYSE:HMT) will report financial results for the fourth quarter 2005 on Thursday, February 23, 2006 before the market opens.  Following the earnings release, the Company will conduct its quarterly conference call for investors and other interested parties on Thursday, February 23, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time (ET).  Christopher Nassetta, president and chief executive officer, and Edward Walter, executive vice president and chief financial officer, will discuss the Company's fourth quarter and full year 2005 results and its business outlook for 2006.
