Host Marriott Corporation Announces First Quarter Earnings Call to be Held on April 26, 2006

BETHESDA, Md., April 3  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Host Marriott Corporation (NYSE:HMT) will report financial results for the first quarter 2006 on Wednesday, April 26, 2006 before the market opens.  Following the earnings release, the Company will conduct its quarterly conference call for investors and other interested parties on Wednesday, April 26, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time (ET).  Christopher Nassetta, president and chief executive officer, and Edward Walter, executive vice president and chief financial officer, will discuss the Company's first quarter results and its business outlook for 2006.
