Item 8.01

Other Events

On April 10, 2019, Hi-Crush Partners LP (the “Partnership”) announced that its general partner, Hi-Crush GP LLC, plans to adjourn the special meeting of the Partnership’s unitholders scheduled for April 11, 2019 (the “Special Meeting”) once it convenes. The new date for the Special Meeting is May 22, 2019 at 9:00 a.m., Central time, and the Special Meeting will be held at the originally announced location, 1330 Post Oak Boulevard, Houston, Texas 77056. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is hereby incorporated by reference herein.

The record date of February 19, 2019 and the proposals that will be voted on at the Special Meeting remain unchanged. Unitholders who have voted do not need to recast their votes, and proxies previously submitted in respect of the Special Meeting will be voted at the adjourned meeting unless properly revoked.
